IV Infusion Control
Program the prescribed infusion rate and monitor delivered volume and remaining time on one LCD screen. Audible and visual alarms alert veterinary teams to occlusions, air bubbles, and an open pump door, supporting timely checks throughout the infusion.
Key Features
Controlled IV Flow
Set delivery from 1–699 mL/h in 1 mL/h steps. The stated ±5% accuracy applies with a calibrated IV set.
Calibrated IV-Set Compatibility
Support for multiple standard IV sets gives your clinic more consumable options. Each set type must match a validated calibration profile.
Layered Safety Functions
Audible and visual alarms, an IV-set clamp and an anti-bolus function support supervised infusion. The pump monitors for occlusion, air in the line and an open door, with audible and visual alerts to prompt staff assessment.
Clear Status & Practical Controls
View rate, target volume, delivered volume and remaining time on the LCD. Physical keys, saved settings and an internal battery support daily workflows.
Who Is This For
Veterinary Clinics
For teams delivering veterinarian-prescribed IV fluids to dogs and cats using calibrated administration sets.
Inpatient Care Teams
For supervised ward care where staff need a clear view of rate, accumulated volume and remaining time.
Procedure & Recovery Teams
For monitored IV fluid delivery around veterinary procedures, with settings and suitability determined by the clinician.
How It Works
-
Prepare the IV Set
Use a validated IV set. Prime and inspect the line according to the supplied instructions before connecting it to the patient.
-
Load & Secure
Mount the pump securely, route the tubing through the indicated channel and close the pump door correctly.
-
Confirm the Program
Select the matching IV-set profile. A trained clinician confirms the prescribed rate, target volume and alarm settings.
-
Start & Monitor
Start delivery with the physical keys. Monitor the patient, display and tubing, and investigate alerts promptly.
Device Controls & Display
Device Layout Overview
The LCD displays infusion information, while status indicators help your team identify operating and alarm conditions. Physical keys provide access to settings and delivery controls. The pump door opens to reveal the IV-tube channel for loading and inspection, while the integrated carry handle and pole clamp support convenient positioning in your veterinary clinic.
Display Guide
View key infusion information on one screen. Rate shows the programmed delivery rate (mL/h), Total shows the target infusion volume (mL), Already shows the volume delivered (mL), and Time shows the remaining infusion time under the current program. Clearly labeled fields help your veterinary team review settings and monitor infusion progress.
IV Set Compatibility
Match your IV set to the pump’s calibrated configuration. Confirm the manufacturer, product reference and tubing specifications, then select the corresponding IV-set profile. New set types require calibration and validation by qualified personnel. The treating clinician should verify that the 1–699 mL/h flow range and 1 mL/h adjustment steps suit the patient and intended infusion protocol.
What’s in the Box
Safety & Care
Safety & Warnings
- Use by trained veterinary personnel with patient monitoring.
- Confirm that the intended fluid and administration route are supported by the supplied instructions and the clinician’s protocol.
- Treat alarms as prompts for assessment; resolve the cause before restarting.
- Recheck stored settings, set selection and prescribed values for each new patient.
Care & Maintenance
- Switch off and disconnect power before cleaning as instructed.
- Clean external surfaces using the method specified in the supplied instructions. Keep liquids out of openings.
- Inspect the door, tubing channel, mount, cord and battery condition routinely.
- Use qualified service personnel for calibration, repairs and technical updates.
Troubleshooting
| Alert or Issue | Checks & Recommended Action |
|---|---|
| Air-Bubble Alarm | Inspect the IV line for trapped air. Follow the supplied instructions to resolve the cause before resuming infusion. |
| Occlusion Alarm | Check for closed clamps, kinked tubing or obstructions. Follow the specified pressure-release procedure. Do not simply raise the alarm threshold. |
| Door-Open Alarm | Confirm that the tubing is correctly seated and the door closes securely. Inspect for obstructions or damaged components. |
| Low-Battery Alert | Connect to an appropriate AC power supply and check the charging status. Maintain patient monitoring and assess whether infusion can safely continue. |
| Unexpected Delivery or Persistent Fault | Stop clinical use. Have qualified personnel check the IV-set profile, tubing placement and calibration. Arrange servicing if the problem persists. |
For trained veterinary personnel. Follow the supplied instructions and resolve the cause of an alarm before restarting.
FAQ
This is a volumetric infusion pump that delivers fluid through a compatible IV administration set. A syringe-driver mechanism is not part of this device.
The stated range is 1–699 mL/h with 1 mL/h increments. Stated accuracy is ±5% with a calibrated IV set. Tubing selection, setup, operating conditions and maintenance affect actual delivery.
KVO means Keep Vein Open. After the target infusion volume is delivered, the pump can continue at a configured low rate of 1–5 mL/h. A clinician must confirm the appropriate setting and continued monitoring.
Most fault alarms stop delivery. Near-end, KVO and low-battery alerts are documented exceptions. Staff must assess the displayed message and patient promptly instead of assuming every alert has stopped the pump.
The page is intended for trained veterinary professionals in supervised clinical care. A veterinarian determines fluid selection, infusion settings and patient monitoring; the pump does not select a treatment plan.
